Veteran-owned import coordination

Japanese vehicle import coordination

Import with clarity. Move forward with confidence.

Nexus JDM Imports coordinates the moving parts of importing a Japanese vehicle, including seller communication, purchase, shipping, customs, and delivery handoff. You'll always know what happens next.

Our role

Coordination, not brokerage.

Nexus JDM Imports coordinates the moving parts of importing a Japanese vehicle.

Nexus is not a vehicle dealer, auction house, exporter, customs broker, freight forwarder, ocean carrier, motor carrier, port operator, or Importer of Record.

Customers pay sellers, exporters, brokers, carriers, ports, and transporters directly unless a separately approved arrangement applies.

Services

Four ways we help you move forward.

Service selection is based on the scope of coordination you need, not on who originally found the vehicle.

Full Import Service

End-to-end coordination across seller communication, purchase, shipping, customs, and delivery handoff. Determined by scope of work, not by who found the vehicle.

Customs Coordination

Nexus can connect you with a licensed customs broker (or work with yours) and facilitate communication and document follow-up. Nexus is not a customs broker and does not file entries.

Vehicle Delivery Coordination

Nexus can connect you with transport-company options and coordinate the pickup and delivery handoff. You approve, contract, and pay the transporter directly.

How the process works

Documented stages. Named responsibilities.

Every import has moving parts. We map who does what at each stage so you always know the next action and who owns it.

Next: Go / no-go decision with the customer

  3. 3. Purchase coordination

    Customer pays seller directly

Nexus coordinates communication; customer contracts and pays the seller or exporter.

    Next: Export and shipping arrangements

  4. 4. Shipping & customs

    Exporter, carrier, licensed broker

Nexus facilitates communication and follows up on documents with the parties responsible for filing; the broker, exporter, and carrier handle official submissions.

    Next: Arrival and release planning

  5. Vehicle Delivery Coordination

Nexus can connect you with transport-company options and coordinate the pickup and delivery handoff. You approve, contract, and pay the transporter directly.

Delivered

Vehicle delivered to the customer

The customer contacted Nexus after purchasing the vehicle and requested customs coordination. Nexus promptly connected him with a licensed customs broker and facilitated communication to help reduce the risk of late customs fees. When the customer could not pick up the vehicle as planned, Nexus helped connect him with a transporter and facilitated the delivery handoff to reduce the risk of port storage charges.
