The deposit is refundable if we are unable to source a vehicle that meets your agreed-upon criteria within the specified search period. However, because the deposit covers the professional labor of researching, translating auction sheets, and communicating with Japanese exporters, it becomes non-refundable once the active search process has begun. We pride ourselves on transparency; if we believe your specific car is impossible to find, we will tell you before accepting your deposit.

On average, the process takes 8 to 12 weeks. This includes vehicle sourcing (1–2 weeks), inland transport and Japanese export customs (2–3 weeks), ocean freight (4–6 weeks), and U.S. Customs clearance (1 week). Nexus JDM Imports provides real-time updates at every milestone.

Yes, we offer port-to-door delivery as a paid concierge service. To ensure the lowest rates, we recommend coordinating delivery at least two weeks before your vehicle reaches the port.
